This incident resulted in the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park.

An additional two individuals are now in custody in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth on suspicion of theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, two women had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
